Baptism
If you are interested in being baptised or would like your child to be baptised then please come to a Sunday service to speak to the Rector, Rev’d Richard Lane, to arrange a visit to your home to talk about the service. At St George’s we operate an open baptism policy and offer baptisms on the second Sunday of the month at the 10.00am service and on the fourth Sunday at 11.30am.
Weddings
We are always delighted to discuss marriage with couples. It is possible to be married at St George’s where either one or both of a couple has been divorced. We are welcoming of members of the LGBTQIA+ community who seek the God’s affirmation and blessing on their partnership. Everyone is invited to meet him in church on a Sunday morning to arrange a time to talk things over.
Funerals
We are very pleased to help people who would like to hold a funeral service in church or at the local crematorium. Please contact the Team Rector to make the necessary arrangements.
